Ilex - Ilex aquifolium 'Bacciflava' ? [Ilex aquifolium Fructu Luteo Group]

Hallo zusammen,

dieses Stechpalmengewächs habe ich heute am Rande eines Bonner Friedhofs fotografiert.

Zunächst habe ich mit allen in meiner Literatur genannten Arten verglichen, bin aber nicht fündig geworden.
In "Die Kosmos-Enzyklopädie der Bäume" von David More bin ich gkaube ich fündig geworden.

Könnte es sich um Ilex aquifolium 'Bacciflava' handeln?

Wie gesagt, richtig bestimmt habe ich es nicht, nur durch Merkmalsvergleich zu dem Ergebnis gekommen.

How many yellow berried cultivars are there? And what is the most likely one? I mean- don't forget, that we are in Germany here. A third world country in horticultural terms. Where less than "very little" is known offside the usual, always the same assortment all over the country year in and year out.

I cannot answer how many yellow selections there are, nor what the situation is like in Germany.
But naming a plant at cultivar level, especially when there are several, almost indistinguishable selections, is a hopeless task (certainly with the available data, we see very smooth-edged leaves and also very serrated, for example).
Therefore my proposal for a Group designation, no more no less, it is simple and eliminates guesswork.
