Hallo Baumfreunde,
ich bin mir eigentlich sicher, diesen kleinen Strauch schon im Forum gesehen zu haben, bin aber ratlos.
Ich hatte die Idee Hamamelidaceae, komme da aber nicht weiter.

This is a Sarcococca (Buxaceae), Stefan.
Probably Sarcococca confusa.

Hi Jan,
thank you for this good advice.
I've never seen another Buxaceeae then Buxus sempervirens. But now I see the similiarity of the flowers.

R/B only knows Sarcococca hookeriana, S. hookeriana var. humilis (= S. humilis) and S. ruscifolia.
In the internet I find lots of pictures of S. confusa and this seems right for me.
But an exact identification seems to be difficult?!

To give you (and also Karola asked for) more precise characters to pay attention, I hesitated somewhat, sorry.

S. confusa
with relatively broad leaves and wavy margins.

S. hookeriana var. digyna
with at least part of the leaves opposite
leaves variable but often broad

S. hookeriana
leaves narrow not opposite
