Susan Andrews has identified the Sophora. It is a cultivar referred to as “Sun King”, or “S. microphylla Sun King” although the plant is not S.
microphylla! It is a cross betweem S. macrocarpa x S. cassioides and is apparently of Chilean origin <<.
