From my first replay on I was somewhat in doubt about the exact species. 'Macrophylla' wrote 'lamina very rough', so Ehretia dicksonii is like rough sandpaper. But I took some leaves from specimens in my herbarium and also other members of the genus are rough leaved. So I have the feeling I better c...

it is not that rare (at least 10 in Belgian collections alone, probably much more)

but large examples are indeed

lamina is very rough so Boraginaceae
the bark is surprisingly deeply rigged
