da gibt es eine Anfrage im Pflanzenbestimmungsforum zu einem Baum, den ich für eine Ulme halte.
Bin aber nicht sicher, welche Art das sein könnte.
Vielleicht Ulmus castaneifolia (aus Jan 's key + illustrated taxa) ? Hilfeeee!

I think this is a form of Ulmus davidiana, or a selection (of hybrid) of it.

I saw U. davidiana var. japonica as well (illustrated taxa) - but I was not sure.
These leaves look a bit less elongated, but we don't have exact sizes.
Is this a more popular species?

yes indeed it is sometimes found in collections (U.castaneifolia is rare, also the shoots and petiole more pubescent and larger leaves)
it is also more used for 'resistent' hybrids
it is also always wise to check the leaves of short-shoots, or the more (and normal sized, not the smallest) basal ones if only longshoots are present.
The ones on strong shoots are usually much longer etc. too...
