In this case Querecus petraea Mespilifolia Group groups all 'shapes' with medlar-leaved foliage there are several clones and they may differ from each other. The foliage also varies enormously in the tree you are showing. So with one tree within that group the leaf will be narrow and almost entire, ...

Gruss Frank indeed, and even both Carpinus coreana and Carpinus turczaninovii are sometimes mentioned as different species, for example in RHS Hillier Trees & Shrubs.... I did not split them,...

Dear Jan, if the juvenile leaves are able to bee so much diferent to the mature leaves, it would be helpful to integrate them to the arboretums-key, so it is truly Acer capillipes, as we aspect.

as far as I can see, all images show (indeed Wolfgang) Acer capillipes (bark!, and indeed also the small keys)
but I think awaiting the mature leaves (as said many times above) is the best (I cannot place the juvenile growth you show)

the buds are stipitate, and this is indeed so for (among others) section Macrantha (Schlangenhautahorn)
